Tantrums
Children, don't test your wills against grandma...
She's older than you, and she knows what to do.
Your cries and your tears will do nothing for you.
Children, don't waste your screams on your grandma,
Save 'em for siblings, and doctors, and such...
because they don;t work on grandma too much.
Tempers and tantrums won't go very far,
because grandma has battled and still has the scars.
She's heard it from kids much louder than you,
so don't waste your energy- it just won't do.
Children, don;t take advantage of grandma...
Be nice and do what she asks you to do.
Remember this one thing, because it is true:
Grandma has the cookies, and the green ice cream, too.
